Eagle Rare 17 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 2025 is part of a series of very rare bourbons, produced by the award-winning Buffalo Trace Distillery. This exceptional bourbon has been matured for 20 years, twice as long as the popular Eagle Rare, which is aged for only ten years. Its smooth and magnificent character comes from a carefully crafted blend of Mash Bill #1, featuring a sour mash of corn, rye, and malted barley. On the nose, you will find prominent notes of caramelized dark fruits, complemented by subtle hints of savory caramel and butterscotch on the palate. The finish is both quick and inviting, leaving lingering flavors of vanilla and oak that enhance its complexity.

History
Eagle Rare 17 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 2025 is a gorgeous collector's item featuring “two beautifully sculptured crystal glass eagles, one inside the bottle, and one serving as the stopper. It is matured for twenty years, twice as long as the standard for Eagle Rare Bourbon. Only 199 bottles were produced and each bottle includes a numbered letter of authenticity. It was first crafted at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfurt, Kentucky. During this time whisky sales were at an all-time low so Master distiller Charles Beam took the opportunity to put out more aged and pricier products. In 1989 The Sazerac Company purchased several brands including Eagle Rare and in 1992 they acquired Buffalo Trace Distillery. Eagle Rare whiskey is carefully aged for no less than ten years making it a smooth and tasty whiskey. Eagle Rare has been a proud recipient of so many awards throughout the years, and they are proud to present The Eagle Rare Life program which was started in 2011. This initiative has successfully highlighted individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities, awarding them with the prestigious Reach Higher Eagle Rare Life Award and a $50,000 donation to a charity of their choice.
